Ars Cameralis Silesiae Superioris

The theme of this year’s jubilee festival edition is „The Desert of reality”. Some festival events will directly confront metaphorical desert with its artistic image or intellectual reflection. However, we would like to provoke simultaneously not so much great emotions as an engaged reception, focused on experiencing art as a reaction to the global reality.

Modern artistic remittance is more often a bunch of quotations derived from many sources and ingrained in various cultures. But this remittance does not want to manipulate anyone, does not tend to advertise anything, nor does suggest any transaction. Formally, it imitates or plays with conventions, but at the same time remains authentic and original as a testimony of discord for the desert of reality. And the spiritual desert.
