A concert 320 metres under the ground!

8 November 2015 at 7 PM | Guido Coal-Mine

Win Janssens was born in Belgian Leuven, Joy Adegoke — near Brussels. They both met at the edge of century and in 2009 they formed a band and named it Joy Wellboy. They started unconventionally with concerts, not with recording. After a couple of concert tours Ellen Allien invited them to the prestige label Bpitch Control.

Music they are playing is a mix of trance, electropop and synthpop; sometimes you may find a whole different inspiration — Joy Division. Fans of alternative pop will be delighted, more demanding listeners will also be pleased with the elements of shoegaze. Musicians travel through time, produce chorus inspired by the 60’s, unpretentious insets on synthesizers just like in the 80’s and mix it all with a classical rock ballad.

The concert will take place at K8 Zone —  320 metres under the ground . You can read more about this extraordinary place here: K8 Zone
